Voices Memories from a Medium LIfe Fiona Roberts Books
While lacking some of the poetic prose that was prominent in her "Ghost of a Smile", Ms. Roberts continues her gentle persuasion that all of us have a degree of psychism within ourselves. In a talented and energetic manner the author identifies supernatural areas that we all have in common while, in addition, revealing a few of her personal readings and sharing a spirit-filled journey to Tibet. If you enjoyed her first installment, you will not be disappointed with her second.......Tags : Amazon.com: Voices: Memories from a Medium's LIfe (9781780997209): Fiona Roberts: Books,Fiona Roberts,Voices: Memories from a Medium's LIfe,6th Books,1780997205,Angels & Spirit Guides,BODY, MIND & SPIRIT Parapsychology ESP (Clairvoyance, Precognition, Telepathy),BODY, MIND & SPIRIT Spiritualism,Biography: General,Body, Mind & Spirit,Body, Mind & Spirit Angels & Spirit Guides,Body, Mind & SpiritAngels & Spirit Guides,Body, Mind & SpiritSpiritualism - General,Body, Mind & Spirit: Angels & Spirit Guides,Body, Mind & Spirit: General,Body, Mind & Spirit: Spirituality General,Mind, Body, Spirit,New Age,New Age Body, Mind & Spirit,Parapsychology - ESP (Clairvoyance, Precognition, Telepathy),Spiritualism - General
Voices Memories from a Medium LIfe Fiona Roberts Books Reviews
The important role of animals in the spirit world was well illustrated by the initial tale of the baby rabbit and then the tearful situation with Harry, her beloved sheep dog. With people, the curious 'Alexander' incident about her grandmother who was standing in the garden at all hours in all weathers listening intently and not moving certainly kept me reading until the description at the end of the chapter; the fascinating story of the time her Dad in his youth spent at his grandfather's house peering out the attic window at the cricket ground opposite certainly maintained my interest.
The explanation of how mediums work gave a helpful insight into clairvoyance and showed that even people who are sceptical or afraid can get messages from the spirit world if they open their eyes, ears and hearts. An excellent follow-up to her earlier 'Ghost of a Smile'. Definitely worth reading!
I thoroughly enjoyed this book, most informative, compelling and written in a very easy style. I don't normally enjoy biographies and I didn't know very much about mediums or the spirit world, but I had enjoyed this writer's travel books and decided to try this biography. Couldn't put the book down. A colourful and interesting life, and what a special and intriguing gift this lady has! Highly recommend.
From the opening account of the untimely death of a baby rabbit to the ethereal tale of a village elder's passing, this latest book by Fiona Roberts is a feast for anyone even remotely interested in spiritualism or the paranormal.
We follow the thread of history as Fiona gradually unlocks the secrets of her family's psychic abilities, down through the generations to the present day and the author herself.
The case histories of readings provide us with concrete examples of a medium at work, examples that even a die-hard skeptic should find difficult to dismiss.
We learn not to fear communicating with the spirits of our loved ones, be they parents, friends, a husband or wife, or even a beloved English sheepdog named Harry, but instead to take comfort.
This is a moving and fascinating book.
For more background on Fiona's evolution as a spiritualist and some very funny stories, I urge you to read the first volume "Ghost of a Smile - Memories from a Medium's Life".
Interesting and informative
Some nice stories in this book. Mediums have lives that are very different than most people. I did learn some new things, and that is why I read these types
of books. I always want to learn more.
This book is quite different than others I have read as it takes you into other countries in its narations.it was quite enjoyable
This book is written and told in a way that doesn't brag of power. It is truth, something different from other "medium, clairvoyant" books. Thoroughly enjoyed the book and have now moved on to Fiona Roberts book "Voices" I look forward to another good read and understanding of the special "Gift" of the Medium/clarvoyant
